I follow the fox as she moves, without flaw,
Through a city she knows like the back of her paw.
Past hotels and hospitals, car parks and clocks,
There’s hope in my heart as I follow the fox.

When a boy’s favourite cuddly toy, Little Fox, goes missing in the park, the family search high and low. But by bedtime, it’s still nowhere to be found. That night, a real fox calls at the window and the boy decides to follow her. Flying through the city and soaring over snowy meadows, the unlikely friends embark on a magical, wintry adventure together. Could it be that this beautiful fox needs the boy’s help with something very special? And, in return, can she help him reunite with his lost toy?

This story, written in beautifully lyrical verse, has a toasty warmth at its centre despite the wintery setting. And it is certain to tug at the heartstrings of anyone who reads it. Perfect read-aloud fun for children aged 3+.
