The nests are all empty.
The trees are all still.
No sound in the valley.
No sound on the hill.

Not a honk nor a hiss.
Not a flap nor a flip.
The flock, it has flown.
And it’s left without Pip!

When Pip’s family flew south for the winter, they forgot one thing: Pip. At first, he’s delighted – free to play, explore, and do exactly as he pleases. But as the cold sets in and the skies feel quieter and quieter, Pip begins to realise that being alone isn’t quite the adventure he imagined.

A lyrical, rhyming tale of resilience, courage, and the love that guides us home, South is a picture book full of warmth, wonder, and hope.
