I was delighted to design the cover for my friend Emma John's fantastic book about her teenage obsession with the worst England cricket teams of all time. Is that fair to say Emma? If not the worst, then certainly one of them. As you can probably tell I don't know very much about cricket, but despite that I thoroughly enjoyed her book. It’s funny, engaging and brilliantly geeky. Think Fever Pitch with bails. This design was featured as one of the Bookseller's Covers of the Month in April 2017.
