In March 2020 he launched #DrawWithRob, which quickly became a global phenomenon. On 21 May 2020, Rob broke the Guinness World Record for the largest ever online art class, with an estimated 250,000 people taking part live on YouTube. He was named Illustrator of the Year at the British Book Awards in 2025.
